SUMMARY:

As a Sales Manager, this individual will work closely with prospective and current customers in their sales territory as well as lead and mentor a team of salespeople to grow the market share of PERRY proTECH and provide technology solutions to meet customer needs. This person is responsible for finding and establishing new client relationships, qualifying leads, achieving sales quotas, developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships, and monitoring the performance of their sales team. This role also provides these individuals a path to possible leadership in the future of PERRY proTECH as their management and leadership skills continue to develop.

  • Manage and grow a book of business through cold calling and customer prospecting
  • Present, promote, and sell PERRY proTECH products and services to new and existing customers with in-depth product knowledge
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis for potential customers
  • Collect and maintain records of customer communications and contact information
  • Manage sales activity and grow market share using customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Identify emerging markets to discover new business opportunities
  • Create and foster positive customer relationships
  • Collaborate on sales efforts with team members and assist in closing appointments
  • Mentor and motivate a team of Business Development Specialists, as well as monitor their performance
  • Assist in providing corrective action to direct reports when necessary, including verbal and written warnings, ride days, and coaching
  • Reach agreed upon monthly goals and revenue targets
  • Resolve customer inquires and concerns

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

A Sales Manager works in a fast-paced and dynamic environment communicating with clients and customer prospects. This role may be on-the-go and spend large portions of time traveling locally and regionally to meet with current and potential customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Background in sales, marketing, or business administration
  • At least 3 years of sales experience
  • Proven track record of successful sales performance by meeting or exceeding targets
  • Experience in a leadership role
  • Experience managing and mentoring
  • Experience using CRM to manage the sales process and forecast sales
