SUMMARY:

As a Technical Specialist, this person is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction by assisting the sales team in developing and presenting required IT solutions as well as promoting the value proposition, products, and services of PERRY proTECH. This individual will provide timely and thorough responses to requests for technical support, solution and application recommendations, business case analyses, quotes, and client-related issues.

  • Conduct in-depth technical discussions with clients
  • Investigate client networks and complete network assessments which will support solution proposals
  • Provide Solutions Architects with specific technical information and client needs to build out proper hardware and infrastructure solutions
  • Support sales during quoting and proposal process as the primary technical resource
  • Understand clients’ needs especially with compliance and regulations
  • Review pending orders and specific customer requests to ensure excellent customer experience
  • Prepare and distribute KPI and SLA performance reviews with clients and internal staff, creating action plans where appropriate
  • Support sales through Quarterly Business Review process by serving as the resource for all technical-related topics
  • Stay up to date with new product offerings and feature launches
  • Assist in communicating and training on product offerings as well as the positioning of these offerings
  • Identify and escalate issues to other teams as needed
  • Effectively communicate with sales, service, end users, and clients to ensure to ensure service delivery meets expectations
  • Follow up with customers and users to complete resolution of issues
  • Stays abreast of current developments in the Information Technology field to include legal and compliance requirements.
  • Continued education and certifications through workshops, seminars, higher education settings, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

A Technical Specialist is required to travel to client locations to provide technical support as well as for training purposes. This individual will stay in constant communication with clients, sales, and service personnel to determine where they are needed most.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Understanding of email systems, components, and migrations
  • Understanding of a SaaS model and hosting solutions
  • Understanding of basic network technologies including wireless technologies
  • Network infrastructure (router/switch/firewalls) knowledge
  • CompTia A+ and/or Net+ certifications or comparable experience
  • Ability to perform basic Windows troubleshooting and support
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery process
  • Associate degree or equivalent with a demonstrated successful work history
  • 5+ years in Information Technology field
  • Microsoft server/AD experience and certifications is a plus
  • Cyber security experience is a plus
  • MS365 Fundamentals (MS900) is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus
