Future Ready Five (FR5) is a dynamic nonprofit organization dedicated to preparing children for success in kindergarten and beyond. We focus on providing essential early learning resources and support to underserved communities. Our goal is to create a solid foundation for lifelong learning and development.

The Social Media and Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance FR5’s visibility, engagement, and impact. This role involves managing all social media platforms, creating compelling content, coordinating marketing campaigns, and supporting community partnerships. The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented individual with a passion for early childhood education and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

  - Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.

  - Manage and update FR5’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).

  - Create, curate, and schedule engaging content, including text, images, videos, and infographics.

  - Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers.

  - Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.

Content Creation:

  - Develop high-quality marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, newsletters, and videos.

  - Write compelling content for social media, website, email campaigns, and press releases.

  - Produce visual content using graphic design, photography, and videography.

Marketing Campaigns:

  - Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote FR5’s programs, events, and initiatives.

  - Coordinate with the team to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.

  - Identify and leverage opportunities for media coverage and partnerships.

 

Website Management:

  - Maintain and update the organization’s website, ensuring content is accurate, up-to-date, and engaging.

  - Optimize website content for SEO to improve search engine rankings and drive traffic.

Community Engagement:

  - Support community partnerships and collaborations to enhance FR5’s reach and impact.

  - Represent FR5 at community events and share FR5 presence in the community with photos and storytelling.

Analytics and Reporting:

  - Track and analyze marketing performance metrics to inform strategy adjustments and improvements.

  - Prepare regular reports on social media and marketing activities.

 

Qualifications:

- Either bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field OR 3+ years of experience in social media management, marketing, or communications.

- Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media and marketing campaigns.

- Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills.

- Proficiency in social media platforms, analytics tools, and content management systems.

- Strong skills in graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing tools (e.g., Final Cut Pro).

- Excellent organizational and project management skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Passion for early childhood education and commitment to FR5’s mission.

 

Compensation:

 

- $40,000-50,000/annually
