Position: Jr. Controller

Department: Administration

Direct Report To: Director of Accounting & Finance

PowerBuilt is a turn-key material handling systems integrator, with an emphasis on lift assist, conveyor, controls, and pre-engineered equipment. PowerBuilt’s clients include many of the largest automotive, appliance, aerospace, and heavy truck manufacturers within the United States, Canada, and Mexico. We are seeking a qualified individual to invite onto our team as our company continues to expand and grow. 

Responsibilities

• Account reconciliations
• Invoicing
• Bill approval and entry
• Expense processing
• Credit processing and payments
• Maintain compliance with government agencies
• Maintain internal books and finances
• Analyze financial transactions
• In state and out of state tax code adherence
• Account Receivable and Payables
• Cash flow analysis and projections
• Additional miscellaneous accounting duties

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Required)
• 3-5 years of accounting-related experience (Required)
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
• High attention to detail
• Ability to multitask
• Ability and desire to lead
• Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
