The Commercial Installation position requires a skilled individual with core competencies in hand tools, construction, and power tools. Premium skills in Bluebeam, construction management, and estimating are highly valued. Relevant skills in construction site work, blueprint reading, and various construction tasks are essential. A high school diploma or GED, along with a valid driver's license, are required for this role. Successful candidates will have a strong foundation in construction practices and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
About the job:
- Installs commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and card access systems.
- Performs system testing and verification for new and installed systems.
- Completes and submits all required documentation in a timely manner, typically nightly.
- Maintains the necessary truck/project stock and inventory.
- Provides customer orientation and support.
- Must be able to work with a team or independently on projects.
- Follow OSHSA and EPS safety guidelines.
- Must have a strong work ethic and be detail-oriented.
- Must complete other projects, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
- Must have one or more years of experience.
- Must have a working knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom and access control systems.
- Must have a working knowledge of necessary codes.
- Must be able to read drawings and pull wires accordingly.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Be able to clear a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Certification/Licensing:
- Must obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses that are required by national, state and local codes.

Physical Requirements:
- Employee must be able to do the following for short to long periods of time with reasonable ease: stand, walk, sit, twist, push, pull, climb ladders or scaffolding, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, be in in small spaces, and drive a motor vehicle.
- Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.
- Must work full-time, Monday-Friday, with on-call availability added once established, some weekends may be necessary and must be able to travel on short notice.
