PURPOSE STATEMENT:
The Marketing Intern supports the Chamber’s strategic marketing and communications efforts by assisting with content development, digital outreach, social media, event promotion, and member visibility initiatives. This role offers a hands-on learning experience in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment while contributing to the visibility and impact of the Chamber and its members across the Columbus Region.
JOB SUMMARY
As the Marketing Intern, you’ll gain real-world experience working alongside a high-performing marketing team. Your responsibilities will span writing and editing content, supporting email and social media campaigns, updating the website, preparing marketing collateral for events and programs, and assisting with multimedia projects such as the Chamber’s cbuzz podcast.
You’ll have opportunities to engage directly with member businesses and Chamber events and programs, building valuable marketing and communication skills in a collaborative, professional setting.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Year-round internship (minimum 10–15 hours per week during the academic year; optional increased hours in summer if available). Flexible schedule within standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM). Interns are expected to attend key Chamber events as part of their experience.
