Description

Astute Technology Management is a leading Managed Services Provider seeking a talented and motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This unique role combines the responsibilities of recruiting top talent for our organization, administering our benefits portfolio, spear heading and managing human resources related functions and managing our company's social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for human resources, expertise in digital marketing, and the creativity to drive both talent acquisition and brand awareness within the tech industry.

  • Manage the recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to negotiating offers, conducting background checks and onboarding new hires.
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, industry-specific events, and networking.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by maintaining open communication and providing feedback.
  • Work closely with department heads to understand and assist with predicting hiring needs.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of laws and regulations related to employee benefits, compensation, and employment issues is required.
  • Work with outside counsel to maintain company handbook and hiring guidelines.
  • Oversee payroll submission and work with outside payroll provider to resolve issues and answer questions.
  • Oversee employee benefits (including health and retirement plans) and works with outside brokers, carriers or providers to resolve issues and improve offerings.
  • Oversees human resource related platforms and vendors relationships.
  • Assist with performance evaluations, feedback and goal setting.
  • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
  • Enforcing company policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
  • Address employee concerns, promoting a positive work environment and strong culture, and monitor employee morale.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Attend and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition and recruitment.
  • Experience in benefits administration.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Excellent follow-up skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, while maintaining a high level of detail.
 

 

Work Conditions

  • 40-hour on-site work week.
  • Minimal travel between locations. 
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components.
