The Michael Powell Foundation is a community‑driven nonprofit dedicated to supporting caregivers and families of adults 62+ living with dementia, Alzheimer’s, and aging‑related challenges. We provide compassionate programs, education, and hands‑on support that help families keep their loved ones safe, engaged, and cared for at home. Our mission is rooted in dignity, empathy, and the belief that no caregiver should walk this journey alone.
We are seeking caring, reliable volunteers who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of aging adults and their families. Opportunities include:
Event Support Volunteers — Assist with setup, registration, water stations, route guidance, cleanup, and guest support at community events such as Walk With Love, Craft & Paint, and Memory Garden.
Caregiver Support Volunteers — Help prepare resource materials, assemble care kits, and support outreach to families in need.
Community Outreach Volunteers — Distribute flyers, represent the foundation at community events, and help build awareness of our programs.
Administrative & Operations Volunteers — Assist with data entry, scheduling, email outreach, and general nonprofit operations.
Creative & Branding Volunteers — Support design, photography, social media, and storytelling that reflects our mission and community impact.

A supportive, mission‑driven environment where your contributions truly matter.
