If So- Check Out This Position- As a WMS Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the operational excellence of Bleckmann's warehouse management system (WMi) by configuring the system to meet business requirements, testing software deliveries, and communicating effectively with key users, internal customers, and vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure the WMi system to meet Bleckmann's business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes and systems.
  • Develop and maintain WMi configurations, ensuring accuracy along the way.
  • Test new software releases and integrations, identifying and resolving any potential issues before deployment.
  • Document WMi configurations and testing results for future reference and collaboration.
  • Communicate effectively with key users, internal customers, and vendors to gather requirements, address concerns, and ensure successful implementation of WMi changes.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest WMi releases ensuring the system remains compliant and optimized.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance WMi knowledge and skills.
  • Support the implementation of new WMi features and functionalities.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of WMi with other systems.
  • Represent Bleckmann in interactions with external partners, vendors, and customers, building strong relationships and promoting the company's expertise in WMi.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement in processes, systems, and workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree level in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field at similar level achieved through education or work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in WMi configuration or warehouse operations.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse processes, including picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.
  • Proven ability to configure WMi systems to meet business requirements.
  • Proficient in testing software deliveries and identifying and resolving potential issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database technologies..
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Additional Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Manhattan Associates WMi is a plus.
  • Experience with other WMi solutions, such as JDA Warehouse Management or Oracle Warehouse Management, is desirable.
